This project is for small quantity of boxes used in trials The paper is Invirokote and the print is on the uncoated side. A toner based digital machine is used.

A clear toner flood coat is used to seal the sheet as the color is critical and is a dark full coverage. The problem is that the glue doesn't adhere and some boxes are de-laminating where glued. The clear toner may be the problem because the color is knocked out where the glue goes on the box.

The other issue is the color match. Currently, a proof is made and the operator has to go in and manipulate it the best he/she can.

Question is what do you suggest to either not put down the clear toner and how to get the color match sooner. any suggestions that you may have would be greatly appreciated!
